Launch Meeting: Motivations & Aspirations [Recording]

If you made it to the launch meeting, thanks so much for your participation!

It was great to hear everyone's motivations for joining, and meet 78 people from around the world with such enthusiasm.

Bernardo also shared some inspiring words about his vision for a community of ambassadors:

The discussion also included introductions from several community members, as well as

• the different kinds of idealism (objective/subjective/epistemic)
• How to talk with people who aren't even aware they hold physicalist assumptions
• Federico Faggin's interpretation of consciousness units

We also covered the value of suffering, questions of meaning and purpose, the significance of the Trinity and differentiating spiritual practice vs commodified spirituality

We then used an interactive whiteboard to start collating themes and question so I can create a draft schedule for the year.
