Tues 18th Feb - "Frontiers of Thought" with Michael Levin & Bernardo Kastrup
Raising money for Compassion in World Farming

We're excited to be hosting this special event, Tuesday 18th February, 2025: Michael Levin | Bernardo Kastrup "Frontiers of Thought"
6-9pm UK Time / 7pm - 10pm CET / 1pm to 4pm EST
Please note this meeting is 3hrs, rather than our normal 2hrs, the first hour will be a Q&A with Bernardo Kastrup. The final 30 minutes will be just with Michael.
Michael Levin joins us to host a session inspired by "Shark Tank" (USA) "Dragons Den" (UK) where selected people can present their very best ideas, research and theories related to idealism, consciousness, life, agency and reality itself.
There won't be any prizes, except a stimulating conversation, reflections and feedback from two great minds.
The event will raise money for the charity Compassion in World Farming.
To submit a proposal for discussion, you make donation when you register. All the details can be found here: https://dandelion.events/e/c01t4
This is also open to non-members.
You can sponsor someone else's proposal with a donation also. At least 6 ideas with the highest cumulative donation will be discussed
If you don't already know Michael, he's had what are for me some of the most exciting conversations with Bernardo that I've seen.
He works at Tufts and is an associate at Harvard. His group works at the intersection of developmental biology, artificial life, bioengineering, synthetic morphology, and cognitive science. Seeking general principles of life-as-it-can-be, they use a wide range of natural animal models and also create novel synthetic and chimeric life forms.
A playlist of their previous conversations we hosted can be found here:
Non-members welcome
Some special guest events will be available to non-members to get tickets, including this one. You can share the link with friends and submit your idea + donation here: https://dandelion.events/e/c01t4
Time permitting, members will have the chance to ask questions towards the end. We'll schedule a session for follow up questions with Bernardo in our first session of March.
