The spiritual homecoming of Odysseus, with Athena Potari
Odysseus vs the suitors - the one view vs the many.

Yesterday, Bernardo was summoned away from home for the entire week. His AI company, Euclyd, (a Trojan horse for his metaphysical commitments) has delivered new and unexpected demands on his time.

He sends his apologies, and promises an extra session later in August.

Whilst he is away on his personal Odyssey, who better to guide us through the spiritual significance of the story than Athena Potari, namesake of the deity who guides Odysseus home?

For Athena, as for many ancient Greeks, The Odyssey is a multi-layered source of wisdom and guidance. An allegory for the soul's journey home. A cornerstone of Western culture, theology and philosophy.

After many years in the seas of Oxford and Harvard academia, Athena is now leading a renaissance of Hellenic spirituality in her home country of Greece. Revealing the nonduality embedded in stories and myths we all know so well.

I look forward to seeing you later today!

With love,

Amir

P.S. We first met with Athena in February in a talk that you can revisit here: Philosophy as a path of love.
