"Irreducible" Federico Faggin Book Club

"Irreducible" Federico Faggin Book Club

Starting Fri May 2nd, Erin Brown will be launching a discussion group on Federico Faggin's 2024 book titled Irreducible.

This fascinating and deeply personal exploration into consciousness and the primacy of subjective experience comes highly recommended by Bernardo Kastrup and offers rich ground for group dialogue.

We hosted Federico back in 2022, which has become Adventures in Awareness most popular youtube video, and his interview with Essentia Foundation has had over a million views.

Friday 5th Sept is the return of the Truth and Reality Book Club!

We will continue discussing Federico Faggin's book Irreducible and also have a discussion on which books to have a discussion around for October!

Please bring your suggestions!

In the time we had off I successfully published my book The Whole Self   Awakening The Inner Wisdom To Live As Yourself and made considerable progress on my course

so appreciate the willingness for everyone to put the group meetings on pause while I was under the influence of the daimon!

So far I have us scheduled to meet once a month on the first Friday of the month. I would love for us to discuss frequency of meetings as well if possible. Twice per month didn't seem to have enough attendance to warrant continuing on that basis, but I would love if we had the interest enough to continue bi-weekly!

Meeting Time in Major Time Zones:

  • 12:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)
  • 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PST)
  • 5:00 PM British Summer Time (BST)
  • 6:00 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST)
  • 9:30 PM India Standard Time (IST)

Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’ve read the full book or are just curious to engage with the ideas. The group is informal and open-dialogue based—no need to raise hands on Zoom.

Previous conversations have explored topics such as:

  • What constitutes consensus reality vs. subjective experience
  • How religious myths can be seen as “Icons of the Now”
  • The nature of pain and suffering from a metaphysical lens
  • Personal insights and experiences that point to a transcendent cognitive space

Erin says they would love to have you join and bring your perspective into the mix.
