Thanks for an awesome meeting and your great questions!

I learnt a lot I didn't know. We heard some very new thoughts from Bernardo on the hierarchies of dissociation as well as:

- The difference between self and ego
- The role of **language** in dissociation
- Two alters in one body?
- What the body represents
- The mechanics of alien hand syndrome

As mentioned, introductory membership prices have now gone up, but anyone who needs financial help can always email to gain access.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help with member onboarding, welcoming and creating more community!

Next week we'll aim to cover the questions we didn't have time for, such as:

- The Nature of dissociation related to internal negation of satre? - Byron
- What exists in the subconscious mind
- What causes a sense of continuity after deep sleep? - Arezky
- Are we multiple alters? - Aaron Day
- How are dreams different from life? - Robert
- Are Dreams a Fundamentally Substantive Human Language? - Shane Nagle

We will then dive into the mysteries of Mind at Large! You can start to discuss and vote on Mind at Large questions here:

[Tues 11th Feb - Mind at LargeFollowing on naturally from the previous week’s theme of dissociation, this week we’ll focus on Mind at Large. In these meetings, we distinguish between ‘Mind at Large’ (MAL) and Universal Consciousness. Universal Consciousness is the ultimate substrate, the excitation of which shows up as the, universe and as living beings.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/c5/20/c520bbe6-927b-460d-bf38-d4f48d5dc338/content/images/icon/Heraldry-Icon-transparent-bg-1-3.png)Bernardo Kastrup: With Reality in MindAmir Giles![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/c5/20/c520bbe6-927b-460d-bf38-d4f48d5dc338/content/images/thumbnail/photo-1536904132820-d4760eae1463.jpeg)](https://www.withrealityinmind.com/tues-11th-feb-mind-at-large/)
