13th May: Rupert Spira | Bernardo Kastrup - The Limits of Understanding & Experience
Rupert Spira's approach centers on direct investigation of consciousness, emphasizing that awareness is not something we have, but what we are.

As you may know, Bernardo and Rupert Spira have been inspiring each other for several years, in private and in exciting public conversations that deepen the understanding of their respective approaches.
Rupert Spira's method centers on direct investigation of consciousness, emphasizing that awareness is not something we have, but what we are. His approach involves careful examination of immediate experience, asking you to verify through your own investigation that consciousness is the constant, unchanging reality in which all experiences appear and disappear.
His dialogues with Bernardo have been an incredible convergence of non-dual spirituality and analytical philosophy. While they approach the question from different angles they share several fundamental conclusions about the nature of reality.
As always, your curiosity and comments ahead of the event are welcome, which will be used to guide the dialogue between Bernardo and guest.
It's so great if you read existing questions and 'heart' any that you really want to see discussed, and perhaps add your own comment!
